What is a skill workspace?

When you open a skill from the skills hub, you enter its workspace. This is where all the learning content lives: documentation, code examples, diagrams, and progress tracking for that skill.

What is inside a workspace

Knowledge base

Each workspace has a full knowledge base with structured documentation on the topic. You can search within it and browse by section.

Code examples

Real code samples with syntax highlighting. You can read, copy, and study the code directly in the workspace.

Interactive code editor

Write and experiment with code inside the workspace. Pro users get unlimited code highlights and annotations.
  • Free: 3 highlights per workspace
  • Pro: unlimited highlights

Career tree visualization

A visual diagram showing how this skill fits into the bigger picture: what it leads to, what depends on it, and where it sits in a career path.

Iceberg diagram

Shows skill depth from beginner to expert level. The surface layer covers basics. Deeper layers show advanced topics that take more time and experience to learn.

Notes and bookmarks

Save personal notes within any workspace. Bookmark sections you want to revisit later.

Skill completion tracking

The workspace tracks which sections you have completed. Your progress syncs across devices and shows up on your dashboard.
