What are Hack & Learn games?

Hack & Learn games are interactive scenarios where you practice cybersecurity skills in a hands-on way. Instead of reading about attacks and defenses, you work through them step by step.

Game types

  • Phishing simulation: identify and respond to phishing attempts
  • Network vulnerability identification: find weaknesses in network configurations
  • Malware analysis: examine suspicious files and determine what they do
  • Incident response simulation: walk through a security incident from detection to resolution
  • Cryptography challenges: solve puzzles involving encryption, hashing, and key management
  • Web app exploitation: find and exploit vulnerabilities in web applications

Difficulty levels

Each game has three levels:
  • Easy: guided walkthroughs with hints
  • Medium: less guidance, more thinking required
  • Hard: minimal hints, closer to real-world scenarios

How it works

  1. Pick a game from the game center
  2. Read the scenario description
  3. Work through the challenge
  4. Get instant feedback on your actions: correct or incorrect, with explanations
  5. See your score when you finish

Leaderboards

Compare your scores with other users. Leaderboards rank players by points, completion time, and accuracy.

Badges

Earn badges for completing games:
  • First game completed
  • Category master (complete all games in a category)
  • Speed runner (complete under a time limit)
  • Perfect score

Daily challenges

Special limited-time games appear daily. Complete them for bonus points and exclusive badges.

Free vs Pro

  • Free: 3 scenarios per game
