What is the certificate roadmap?

The certificate roadmap helps you figure out which cybersecurity certifications to get and in what order. It maps certifications to career paths so you spend your time and money on the ones that matter most. Find it at /certificate-roadmap.

How to use it

  1. Open the certificate roadmap page
  2. Browse certifications or filter by career path
  3. Click on a certification to see full details
  4. Follow the recommended sequence for your goals

You can switch between several views:
  • Grid: cards showing certification details at a glance
  • List: compact list with key info
  • Table: sortable table with all data points
  • Tree: visual sequence showing which cert comes before which
  • Network: relationship map between certifications

Certification details

Each certification shows:

Certification sequencing

The roadmap shows the recommended order. For example:
  1. CompTIA Security+ (foundation)
  2. CompTIA CySA+ or PenTest+ (specialization)
  3. OSCP or CISSP (advanced)
